The SBI Local Head Office Building at GIFT City, Gandhinagar is a high-rise commercial development designed to meet the advanced infrastructure standards of India’s premier financial hub. The project demonstrates capability in delivering complex corporate buildings that integrate structural engineering, architectural quality, and advanced building systems. The development comprises three basement levels, a ground floor, and thirteen upper floors, reaching an overall height of approximately 81.48 metres with a gross built-up area of about 30,655 sq. m., designed to support high-performance corporate operations.
Structure
The building is constructed using a reinforced cement concrete framed structural system designed to support high-rise loads and integrated services infrastructure. A key engineering highlight of the project is the terrace-level structural steel pergola, fabricated and erected as a long-span architectural feature. The pergola spans approximately 50 metres with a curvature of about 77.5 metres and is installed at 25 metres above the terrace level. Its execution required precise fabrication, welding, bolting, and erection control along with coordinated lifting operations and strict dimensional tolerances to ensure structural stability and architectural precision.
