The Metro Bhawan project is a mission-critical infrastructure development conceived as the administrative headquarters and Operations Control Centre (OCC) for the Gujarat Metro network. The facility is designed to operate as a 24×7 centralized command, monitoring, and decision-making hub, ensuring seamless coordination and control of metro operations. The development comprises a multi-storied RCC framed structure rising approximately 72 metres in height, being executed within a stringent 15-month delivery schedule. The building envelope incorporates over 6,000 sq.m of high-performance Double-Glazed Unit (DGU) façade with engineered expansion joint systems. The mechanical infrastructure includes advanced HVAC installations exceeding 560 TR capacity, designed with dedicated zoning for OCC rooms, server environments, and administrative areas to ensure continuous operational stability and temperature control for critical systems. Executed under milestone-driven timelines, stringent safety frameworks, and comprehensive testing and commissioning protocols, Metro Bhawan represents a high-performance urban transport facility where structural engineering, building systems integration, and operational reliability converge to support the future of metro mobility in Gujarat.
