Yashnand Engineers & Contractors Pvt. Ltd. executed the construction of a large-scale affordable housing development comprising 1,789 EWS and 783 LIG dwelling units for the Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA) in Sector 12, Pune. The project formed part of a major urban housing initiative aimed at providing planned residential infrastructure for economically weaker sections and lower income groups within the rapidly developing Pimpri-Chinchwad region. The development involved the design and construction of multiple mid-rise residential buildings using RCC structural systems reaching heights of approximately 35.6 metres in a G+11 configuration. The project covered a total built-up area of approximately 1,55,714 sq. m., reflecting the scale and complexity associated with high-density urban housing infrastructure. Construction utilized monolithic RCC construction technology with aluminium formwork, enabling faster construction cycles while maintaining structural integrity and uniform quality across the residential towers. The scope included complete civil, structural and architectural construction along with integrated building services and external infrastructure works including electrical installations, plumbing and water supply networks, sewerage systems, internal roads, stormwater drainage, firefighting infrastructure, lifts and associated building services. External development works included paved access roads, compound walls, landscaping, parking infrastructure and site utilities ensuring full operational readiness of the residential township.
